La localidad de Fuentelespino de Haro inauguraba anoche la exposición ‘Útiles, herramientas y hallazgos de nuestro pasado’, una muestra que ha sido posible gracias a la generosidad de los vecinos del municipio que han aportado cerca de un centenar de objetos para que permanezcan en el Centro Social de la localidad hasta el próximo 30 de agosto. De todas estas piezas, según explicaba el alcalde, Benjamín Prieto, quien estuvo acompañado en este acto José Manuel Tortosa y Ana Cantarero, senador y diputada provincial, “la gran mayoría pasarán a formar parte de la colección permanente del futuro Museo y Casa de Oficios Miguel Lucas de Iranzo” que tiene previsto abrir sus puertas, si la situación sanitaria lo permite, a finales de octubre, coincidiendo con la tradicional celebración del Corpus Christie.

 

Este museo será el primero con el que cuente Fuentelespino de Haro. “Pretendemos añadir un valor cultural y turístico al pueblo, además de rendir homenaje a nuestra tradición y a todos los hombres y mujeres que se han servido de estos útiles sobre todo para trabajar y enriquecer nuestra identidad como municipio”, ha explicado Prieto.

 

Las obras del futuro Museo y Casa de Oficios Miguel Lucas de Iranzo comenzaban hace un año. En el edificio se han invertido 300.000 euros, cuenta con unos 400 metros cuadrados y también dedicará un apartado especial a este personaje histórico nacido en el siglo XV en el término municipal de Fuentelespino de Haro.

 

Prieto ha agradecido la implicación de sus vecinos en este proyecto, “que contribuye a explicar, sobre todo a los más jóvenes,  tanto la historia más antigua como una parte no muy lejana de nuestro pasado” y animaba a los pueblos de alrededor a visitar la exposición, “con la que conocerán y comprenderán algo más la historia de toda la comarca”, explicaba.
